Webosaurs Blog Search for: Song and Dance Party Weekend – Friday and Saturday
Guess what is happening the weekend? Friday and Saturday is a Song and Dance Party. It will pretty awesome, and I'm for sure going to try to come. Below is the info, and yes, is all written by the Webosaur Blog Team!
''
This weekend is a Song and Dance Party weekend! We’re kicking off the two day celebration with a KARAOKE night and following up on Saturday with a DANCE PARTY tournament. Put on your dancing shoes and clear your throat for a fun weekend ahead.
Karaoke Night
A party chosen by you! Karaoke Night will work just like Comedy Night. Everyone who comes to the party will have a chance to get up on the stage and sing a few lines of their favorite song. You can even invite some friends to come up for backing vocals, or do a duet! At the end of the party, the guest judges will pick the top 3 performances and award coins and cheesey trophies. The event will be held in the Understory Layer so make sure you’ve unlocked it if you haven’t already!
Where: Giant Umbrella (in Understory Layer), Jurassic Server
When: Friday, July 30th – 14:00 WST

Dance Party Tournament
Day two of the Song and Dance Weekend is an all out Dance Party Tournament. No sign ups, just show up for the event and we’ll do groups of three. A mod will be in game for each one to referee the scores. We’ll just keep going until it filters down to two people left for a final. All dances will be held on hard mode and the tournament will be single elimination. We’ll be meeting in Buckland’s Peak and all dinos will stay in the peak unless their name is called for a round. After the round all dinos are to head back to Buckland’s Peak until it is their turn again.
Winners of the Dance Party Tournament will be getting the coveted Raptor Trophies!
Where: Buckland’s Peak, Triassic Server
When: Saturday, July 31st – 12:00 WST''
Awesome. Leave a comment if your going. I think it will be very epic. I'm getting ready to boogie down myself, haha! Check back here for more Webosaur Cheats, Secrets, and Guides!

Q: What was the fiercest prehistoric cat of them all? -Irvine
A: Well well well, Irvine. This is a great question. Obviously, sabre toothed cats and wooly mammoths and the like came long after the time of the dinosaurs, in the Early Pleistocene. You bring up a great point about the cats though, because most everyone knows about the famed Smilodon AKA “sabre toothed tiger” but did you know there were many other sabre toothed cats at this time?
There are at least 40 known genera of sabre toothed cats from the Pleistocene, and not all of them even come from the same family! For some reason, multiple groups of mammals evolved to have giant sharp teeth protruding out of their mouths. Nature has a funny way of experimenting with ways to eat other animals!
We can’t really say for sure which one was the MOST fierce, because you have to admit they’re all pretty gnarly. We’d have to go with Smilodon though, as they were the biggest of all of them. Some of them weighed up to 1,200 lbs (500 kg) !! That is how much a grizzly bear can weigh. Yeah, these guys were nasty. Add giant teeth that grew to 11 inches (28 cm) long and you’ve got a prehistoric killing machine on your hands.
Game of the Week – Demolition Derby
You’ve asked for it and now it’s happening. This week’s Game of the Week is none other than the crazy destruction of Demolition Derby. Hop in your best derby car to destroy your friends. If ramming them isn’t enough, fire off with your machine gun or drop some bombs on a fool!
You can find Demolition Derby on the right side of the Tonto Plateau. If you need a break from getting blown up you can always shake a leg across the way at Dance Party. Oh yeah, and Demolition Derby usually gives out a lot of coins as it is. This week it should giving out a whole lot more.''
Awesome! After you play the game, it gives you extra coins. And I'm sorry for no new posts. I'm on vacation and finally got time to post.

Cowasaurus Party! (info)
MOOOOOO! Holy COW, Cowasaurus has been all over the place this week. You never know when he’s going to show up next. Except for THIS SATURDAY when Cowasaurus throws a raging cow party at the Giant Umbrella in the Undestory Layer.
We’ll be serving grass burgers, grass salads and maybe even some grass eggrolls. Speaking of which, anyone want to volunteer to run the restaurant? Cowasaurus will be on his best behavior (although I can’t promise he won’t poop out some coin codes). You guys need to get together to make sure the restaurant is running smoothly by the time he arrives.
So yo.. MOOOOOOOO. Deets:
Where: Giant Umbrella restaurant in the Understory Layer
When: Saturday – 12:00 WST
Server: Jurassic
In the meantime, you can look for hints on when Cowasaurus will show up by following us on Twitter. I’ll tweet “Mooooo” when he’s arrived on the Island.

Game of the Week – Dino Dig in Sanoran Sands
Hey everybody! New Webosaur's blog post and here's what Rex had to say-
Hey gang! This week’s Game of the Week is Dino Dig in Sanoran Sands! Unearth some glorious dinosaurs and other prehistoric fossils the same way real paleontologists would. Carefully brush the sand away using your brush, then use a variety of other tools to break up the dirt and rock standing in your way to unveiling a brilliant fossil! Careful though, you’re on a timer so work quickly before the fossil is ruined forever!
There are two Dino Digs on the Island, but if you want to unlock the extra coins for Game of the Week you need to go to the Sanoran Sands one. Have fun digging, dinos!
-Rex
Awesome! I love this game, and don't forget, since it's the game of the week and there's two places, you have to go to the Sanoran Snads one to earn it!

Protectosaur Meetings – Tuesday
If you aren’t familiar, we encourage our Protectosaurs to meet up as a group once a week to discuss issues on the island and other items of interest. However, the meetings aren’t closed off to only Pros – they are more like Town Hall style meetings for everyone to discuss island business. Everyone has an equal stake in Webosaurs and we would love to hear what is on your mind. Come by and chat, but please remember to be respectful as we try to run our meetings in an organized fashion!''
